We combine evidence-based instruction designed to build foundational and essential skills to help your child become a successful reader and writer. While this instruction may be challenging at times because reading and writing may not come naturally for your child, we strive to create a supportive environment where children feel empowered to take risks and grow their reading and writing confidence while having fun.
Elements that make our approach effective include:

Systematic and cumulative instruction - explains each small element as a part of a bigger picture. Skilled instruction follows a sequence which moves from easier to more difficult concepts that build upon one another.
